Terms of service

These are the conditions under which a car rental company uses Brega: the console, the public catalog that comes out of it and, when it is contracted, the app in its own brand.

Last updated · September 9, 2026

If you signed a contract with us, that contract prevails over this document wherever the two differ. This is what applies when there is no contract.

Who provides the service

Brega is a product by Neurosoft. The service is provided from the Dominican Republic and prices are quoted in Dominican pesos unless your contract says otherwise. The provider tax identification details and the address for notices are set out in the contract.

The account and who gets in

Your company gets an administrator account and from there it adds its team with whatever permission each person needs. Everyone signs in with their own email and their own password: credentials are not shared, and whatever is done from an account is attributed to whoever holds it. The console keeps an audit log of what each person touched, and the administrator can read it.

What you pay and how

A plan has a fixed base per thirty day period, a price for each contract handed over and a ceiling the period invoice never goes past. A contract counts on the day the vehicle goes out, once, and no later correction moves it or repeats it. The base is paid even if nothing goes out: it is the floor for the period, not a balance with contracts included.

If an invoice goes unpaid

Every invoice falls due on its date and the plan has a number of grace days counted from there. Past those days the company is suspended: the team stops getting into the console and the public catalog stays open, because switching it off would strand anyone holding a booking. Nothing is deleted by a suspension, and paying resumes it where it was.

Your customers data is yours

Everything your company puts into the console —your vehicles, your prices, your customers and their contracts— stays yours. We store it and process it to provide the service and for nothing else: we do not sell it, we do not hand it over, we do not use it to train models and we do not look at it except to handle something you asked us for or to fix a fault. How it is handled is in the privacy policy.

What you publish in your catalog

The public catalog carries your name and your logo, and what it says about each vehicle —its price, its photos, its conditions— is written by you. You answer for that to whoever rents from you, the same as for the rental contract you sign with them: we are not a party to that contract and we do not step into the operation.

The app, when it is contracted

The app in your own brand is the only thing sold separately from the console, and it brings push notifications for your customers and the points programme with it. It is published on the Apple and Google stores, which have their own rules and their own review times: how long a release takes to go out is not up to us.

Availability and support

We work to keep the service up, and we do not promise you a percentage: there are maintenance windows and there are outages we depend on third parties for. Support is handled by email and WhatsApp during Dominican business hours. If your contract includes a service level commitment, that is what applies.

Acceptable use

Brega cannot be used for anything unlawful, nor to load data about people you are not entitled to load, nor to resell access to a third party that is not your company. Load testing, reverse engineering and attempts to reach another company data are out too. Use like that is cut off without notice, and it is the only reason we cut off without waiting out the grace days.

Leaving

You can stop using the service whenever you want, telling us before the current period closes; what is already invoiced is not prorated. Before you go we hand you your data in a readable format, and ninety days after you leave we delete it, except for whatever the law requires us to keep —invoices, mainly—.

Changes

The product changes: screens get added and every so often one gets rebuilt. What we do not change without telling you by email in advance are the prices of your plan and these conditions. If a change does not work for you, you can leave before it takes effect.

Liability

We answer for what happens through our fault and up to the amount you have paid us over the last twelve months. We do not answer for lost profit or indirect damage, nor for what happens because of badly loaded data, shared credentials or a third party you depend on. None of this limits what the law does not allow to be limited.

Governing law

These conditions are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic, and any dispute is submitted to its courts. The venue detail, if your contract specifies one, is whatever the contract says.
